This item is a L-com CIB Series GPIB IEEE-488 data cable. The cable is used to connect GPIB devices to a computer or other system. Each end has both male and female ports which enables the cable to connect a device to a GPIB port on a compute as well as provide a feedthough for that computer port allowing other devices to be connected to the same port. The cable is in excellent condition, however it is missing one of the attachment screws.
